my crushie

His name is Simon and the boyfriend of my officemate Marie. He was also a classmate in one of my French classes.

All I know is that he's a sweetie.

And he's sort of a geek.
And a clutz.
And a rock climber.
And that he absolutely loves Marie.

I often ask her to invite Simon over. The one time that he did, I was out on a shoot. Damn.

Marie sent me this pic with the subject heading: my boyfriend the rockstar. But which she later retracted with, "ay, mukha pala siyang balladeer dito."

This photo was taken by his officemate when they were out karaoke-ing. (<---- is that even a gerund?!)

PS. Just in case you still don't get it, Marie knows I am crushing on her boyfriend. And she gushes with me, every time.

PPS. I should ask her for a better photo.

Last Saturday night...

Ask me what a perfect Saturday evening would look like and I would probably answer this: curled up on my bed with a good book or watching a riveting movie.

Yes, I am boring that way.

But Its not that I don't want to party.
Nope. I do love to party. I do like going out and being with friends. And I absolutely love karaoke on a Saturday night.

But you see, "Me" time is pretty rare these days that i savor it as much as every drop of a cold mango juice in the summer.

So, I was pretty much surprised to have enjoyed going to the world trade center last Saturday night and party with DJ Tiesto. And to think I am not really into his music at all. But what the heck, it was F-U-N! We had a blast dancing to the music. Not to mention, there were a couple of CUTE guys! hehehe.

Lana, Red, Zo, and I decided to take a picture of ourselves. That's us, in the black box, with props and all. No, I didn't go there with the party hat. It was in the props bin.

I planned to wear flats but ended up stepping into my stilettos. Stupid. My feet started aching at around 1230. So I went out and bought slippers at a 7-eleven. They weren't good enough for on a regular day but that night, my toes thought they were priceless.

We went home around three with the party still on. I think they planned to end it around 7 am. I don't think I can party that long. (Heck, am i really getting old???!) The only downside was I had to pay P200 for my overnight parking at the galleria. wek.wek.wek.

PS. Wild partying is reserved for Friday nights when I still have two days to recover before facing, again, reality... err another work week.

Summit Crew's Feedback

Link

For the past, err, five weeks, a few of us from the office are taking up dance lessons. Of what, you might ask. Gio, our first-ever teach, calls it 'smeksy" inspired by Bobby Newberry's style of dancing.

Last night, we finally learned the rest of the moves for Janet Jackson's Feedback. Finally! We completed the song! Woohooo! We started learning the dance moves on our first class but wasn't able to get the CADS peeps to teach us the rest until last night.

Congrats Summit Crew! :)

object of my current desire...

I just found out about this car today and well, now I know what I'm going to be dreaming about for months to come...

The lambo reventon (reh-ben-ton) was unveiled during the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show. Its the most powerful and expensive lambo as of the moment and costs about a million Euros. (Great, just great.) The exterior was inspired by the F22 raptor.

Only twenty will be made (but rumor has it that there would be about 100 more.)

Did I ever mention that I used to dream about being a fighter plane pilot? I wanted to join the air force so I can fly fighter planes. Then I found out that the Philippine Air Force doesn't have any fighter plane. My heart was broken. I always wanted to die in a big explosion during a dog fight.

Anyhoo, this car is the perfect marriage of the two things I have dreamt of most of my life - driving a lambo and flying a fighter plane.

Now, I just have to figure out how am I going to raise a million Euros... and getting on the waiting list.

counting my pennies...

because one plus one always add up to two.

As of the moment, I'm in the middle of a couple financial projects.
1. Paying for my parking sticker for work - a sizeable chunk is deducted from my salary for four consecutive pay days. I still have a month to go and I know its going to be a struggle to stretch whatever's left of my pay.

2 Trying to build my nest egg - i'm putting aside money for my future.

3.Saving up for a trip - enough said. And yes, I have to take this trip. Its been six months since I last left the country... and its killing me! Haaay.

hmmmm.....All I can say is,

MAY GOD CARRY ME THROUGH THIS.
