Christmas Pudding VS Easter Sundae
Why is it that we celebrate Easter, which is the whole basis of our faith, with less funfare than Christmas? We certainly prepare more for Easter (lent - 40 days) than Christmas (advent - 4 weeks). So what gives?
The only reason I could think of is we celebrate Christmas at the end of the year and thus coincides with our being grateful for the year that was.
I wish for a more joyous celebration for Easter. I believe it certainly deserves the music, the decoration, and the parties! Not just the usual easter egg hunt for the kids!
So I decided to give the RL Staff my first ever Easter Sundae Treat last Monday. Its not really the big, fun celebration I had in mind but i guess its a start. I do wish God would provide me with the moolah for a more fun party in the years to come.

My latest guilty pleasure...
I've been quite taken by one of NBC's latest series, "Lipstick Jungle". (yes, its based on one of the novels of candace bunshell of sex and the city fame).
The story of three girlfriends in high places. Their lives and loves unfolding for our entertainment. And yes, their lives are pretty amusing.
Starring Lindsay Price as Victory Ford, the designer

Brooke Shields as Wendy Healy, the movie executive

Kim Raver as Nico Reily, the editor-in-chief
I especially love the love story of Victory and Billionaire Joe Bennett (played by Andrew McCarthy. Yes, ANDREW McCARTHY! And you though he disappeared into oblivion.)

Can I just say that he's my ideal guy.
REALLY.
MY IDEAL GUY.
Well, maybe he should grow a feet taller.
Then he's perfect.
Haaayyyy.
PS. Though, I'm still in love with Adam. (hihihi.)
