The thing that I've been dreading for the past year finally happened - I missed writing on this blog for a whole month.
And now, I don't have an entry for the month of March.
Geez.
And a lot of things happened on that quite eventful third month.
I can't make up an excuse because there isn't any.
Or perhaps, there is.
I have, again, turned to the old fashioned way of noting everything - on paper.
Figured out that there is still, at least for me, a lot of better things that i can do with paper.
And the very first thing is that I can lag it around and jot down my thoughts anywhere, anytime. And its pretty convenient too. I don't need to a socket or a wifi area just to able to write.
Anyway, lets just keep the happenings of the month of march all to my beautiful self and my new bestfriend - my blue journal.
The latest happening in my life is that I have finally planned out, scheduled, or standardized my weeknights.
While I can't be sure of what time my work ends due to events, shoots, and what-have-yous, I've thought of how I am going to spend every single night of my work week.
1. Monday - EMAIL NIGHT. Have to write all my overdue emails to friends and keep in touch with them.
2. Tuesday - BOOK NIGHT. I need to read, and hopefully finish one book on this night. If not, then atleast, I know I can finish atleast one book per month.
3. Wednesday - MOVIE NIGHT. Doesn't matter if its an art film or a B-movie. I just really need to watch movies more often! (But of course, knowing me. I'd stick to the ones I like the most.)
4. Thursday - PEN NIGHT/ QUIET NIGHT. I need to write something for myself. May it be a poem, story or screenplay, I need to do some recreational writing to keep me sane. And this is also the time when I am going to do something in my journal - stick on something, draw, paint. Whatever strikes my fancy! But most importantly, it is going to be my weekly quiet time for the big man upstairs.
5. Friday - TAMBAY GIMICK /NIGHT. Says it all. Don't care if its at Megamall, Greenbelt, or ATC. Just as long as I am out there somewhere.
Hopefully by following this, I'll be able to live out my life a whole lot fuller.
I do really hope so.
